Join us tomorrow, November 14th, at Hermosa School for our annual Pancakes with Parents Breakfast. We will be serving pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk, and orange juice from 6:30-7:45 AM in the cafeteria. Please use the Activities Entrance.
Thank you to all Veterans! Hermosa School appreciates your dedication to this great country! We kicked off the morning by celebrating Veterans Day with members of the Post 303 American Legion Color Guard, Zayleigh and Marin singing the National Anthem, and Will playing Taps on his trumpet. A special thanks to Mr. Trandem and Ms. Henriksen who are both veterans and staff members at Hermosa.

30th Annual Veterans Day Program – Monday, Nov. 11th at 2 p.m. @ Custer Armory ~ If you know of a veteran or current member of the armed services, please invite them to attend this very moving and patriotic program so they can be honored at this event. The public is welcome to attend!
We have two great events next week we invite our families to attend! Veterans Day Dinner on Monday and Pancakes with Parents from 6:30-7:45 on Thursday!

Hermosa School Red Ribbon Week 2024
A group from the South Dakota Department of Education visited the Hermosa School today.
On Monday, October 28 Wildcat Lane will be open to through traffic. Thank you for your cooperation and patience over the last two weeks.
Last week, Mrs. Webster's 6th grade class went on a field trip to SURF (Sandford Underground Laboratory Facility) formally known as the Homestake Gold Mine in Lead, SD. The trip was made possible by a gracious grant from the Custer Youth and Alumni Foundation.
Delta Dental Mobile Program is coming to Custer
October 21st to 24th, 2024
This is a fully equipped dental office on wheels! Will treat children ages 0-21. Consent forms are available at CES and CHS, or on website. Paperwork MUST be completed and submitted to school office no later than 4:00 PM on 10.16.24
Dylan Frank, a CHS senior soccer player, played the national anthem on his guitar at the CHS Belle Fourche soccer game.
Join us Saturday as Hermosa hosts the Middle School "A" Volleyball Jamboree. Both the Hornets and Wildcats take the court at 9 AM! We will have a full concession stand with a lunch special for $5! Bump, Set, Spike!
Ms. Henwood's World Life Skills exploratory class spent Monday learning to check fluids and tire pressure on staff vehicles! Mr. Paris suggested they do staff vehicle carwashes next!
