Mrs. Frieden's "Fiber Arts" exploratory class has been taught different techniques such as knitting and crocheting to make scarves over the past 9-weeks. Today they took their scarves into Rapid City and placed them on the presidential statues for those who are less fortunate and need to stay warm during the winter. Such a great class and a great giving project!

We have had some questions regarding the damage done to the fence at Hermosa School. A little after 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 8th, a vehicle left the roadway on Hwy 40, hit the guard rail between the road and school fence, and then hit the school fence causing the damage. The SD Department of Transportation fixed the guard rail on Monday and there has been a temporary repair to the school fence until it can be repaired completely. If you have any other questions, please reach out to Mr. Paris.
