TeamMates Mentoring Program has partnered with Custer School District, and the communities of Hermosa and Custer, to provide the support and encouragement of mentors to students. Our goal is for mentees to develop safe, positive relationships with their mentors and for those matches to last through high school graduation. We are excited about this partnership with TeamMates to ensure students are surrounded by the web of support they need to reach their full potential. Would you like to serve as a mentor? CSD is looking for mentors to be matched with students. Please email Supt. Mark Naugle, if you have any questions about TeamMates: firstname.lastname@example.org

It is that time of year when students need to dress appropriately for the weather! Please make sure your child comes to school prepared to go out for recess. They need to have a heavy coat, gloves, and a hat to protect themselves from the cold weather. If the temperature or wind chill is below 0◦ Fahrenheit, students will be kept indoors for recesses. If your child is missing some of his/her cold weather gear, please check the “Lost and Found” box located in the elementary commons.
