Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Students of Custer Junior/Senior High School;
On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to welcome you back to Custer Junior/Senior High School for another school year, and in particular, any new students attending our school for the first time. Whether you are returning, have arrived from one of our feeder schools (Custer Elementary or Hermosa ), or you have newly arrived to the area, please take the time to see what Custer Junior/Senior High School has to offer.
Whether it is through focusing on academics, student leadership, extra-curricular activities or volunteering, I challenge you, the students to make the most of your school experience and to get actively involved in everything the school has to offer. I also encourage you parents to remain involved in your son’s or daughter’s education, as it will greatly increase the likelihood of success. Our doors are always open to you. Call or make appointments with teachers to keep the lines of communication open. I assure you that our teachers will do the same.
With each new school year come some changes, as we endeavor to make Custer Junior/Senior High School even better.
What never changes, though, is the warm, welcoming environment which fosters the educational and social growth of the student body.
Please take the time to read our handbook so that you are familiar with the expectations that we have for students at Custer Junior/Senior High School. With your support in achieving these expectations, we know that this school year will be a productive and successful year for all.
Good luck and have a great year as a Wildcat!
