Students will be able to apply to three South Dakota colleges for free that week.

- Varsity races begin at 1:00 followed by JV
- Middle School Races begin at 4:00
Friday, Sept 18 Boys Golf Triangular with Belle Fourche and Lead-Deadwood @ Rocky Knolls at 2:00
Football @ Scottsbluff, NE at 6:00 (bus leaves at 1:00)
- Each player is allowed 6 guests – must be on the voucher list for admittance
Saturday, Sept 19 Cross Country @ Huron Not attending this year

Hermosa Families who are participating in distance learning can pick up student meals daily at the school. It is the cost of a regular lunch. If the student(s) qualify for free or reduced meals, it will be a free or reduced cost. Call the Hermosa School office to sign up. 605-255-4345.
· Parent/teacher conferences are Sept. 21 and 22. All parents will be scheduled a time with their student.
· Show some school spirit with some new Hermosa gear….see Mr. Trandem for more details.
· With the weather turning colder, remember to bring your coats, gloves, boots.
· Picture day will be Sept. 22nd. Watch for more details. Parents, If you have a distance learner or a younger sibling please make an appointment with Jennifer in the office if you would like their picture taken.
In-town Bus Stops
- 7:18am at Super 8 area and 7:21am at the Sentinel Federal Credit Union.
- There will be a bus that will stop at Lynn’s in the AM for pick up at 7:26 am.
After school, the Pass Creek bus drops off at Purple Pie Place/Super 8 area.
Carrol Creek bus drops off at BH Federal Credit Union /old Shopko

PARAPROFESSIONAL – needed full-time to assist teacher(s) with students in the Hermosa School for 7.5 hrs/day, $12.35-12.85/hr, (Class IIII). Will work according to school calendar starting 8/19/20. SUBSTITUTE CLEANERS - needed at all schools. Must complete CSD classified application packet and complete a criminal background check. $12.50/hr DOE.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS - needed at all schools. Must complete CSD substitute application packet, submit proof of highest level of education, and complete a criminal background check prior to starting. Contact the CSD Admin. Office for a packet, or apply online at CSD.k12.sd.us, which will include the fingerprint/background check materials. Minimum requirement, HS graduate. Pay range $90/day-$115/day. Retired CSD Teachers start at $115/day.
