Marsha has served as the Special Education Director for Custer School District since 2008. Living in the Black Hills is a dream come true!! Prior to coming to Custer, Marsha worked as a school psychologist and special education coordinator for 25 years in southern Minnesota. Marsha obtained her B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College and completed her graduate work at Minnesota State University-Mankato. Marsha enjoys anything that involves being outdoors in the hills, and particularly enjoys time with her horses and family.
Eve and her family moved to Custer in 2005, which was a homecoming for her as a CHS graduate. After high school, she earned her bachelor's degree from Augustana College in special education and elementary education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from SMSU. Eve and her husband Casey have had careers that led them to Florida, Eastern SD, Germany, and Minnesota. Eve is currently serving as the Special Education Assistant Director. On her down time, you can often find her enjoying ATV rides on the trails of the beautiful Black Hills or out enjoying her small flock of chickens. The pride of Eve's life are her children, Graysen & Siri.
Since moving to Custer last year, I have found Custer School District and the Special Education Department a fantastic place to work. I feel truly blessed to support the staff and students in the Special Education Department.
